AFC Ajax has officially completed its technical staff for the upcoming season. The Amsterdam club announced on Friday afternoon through its official channels who will form the technical staff for the new season. Earlier, it was already known that Míchel, who came from Girona FC, is the new head coach of AFC Ajax.
Who is in the technical staff?
Míchel will be assisted by the Spaniards Juanvi Peinado Fernández and Alberto Garrido Martinez as the new head coach of AFC Ajax in the upcoming season. The name of the goalkeeper coach is also officially known: Juan Carlos Balaguer Zamora.
What does this mean for AFC Ajax?
AFC Ajax also announced that it has said goodbye to several staff members. The contract of Óscar García, who was interim coach at Jong Ajax and Ajax 1 last season, was terminated. He was presented as the new coach of the Polish club Pogon Szczecin this week.

The selection of AFC Ajax completed the first group training of the new season on Friday. Earlier in the week, several players from the Amsterdam club had already started individually. On Thursday, the necessary tests were on the agenda and it became clear how the technical staff would be filled from now on.
