The arrival of the new staff brings a significant amount of international experience to the club. Peinado previously worked closely with Julen Lopetegui at clubs such as Sevilla, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and West Ham United, while Garrido earned his stripes in the youth academy of Real Madrid and recently at Watford FC.

The AFC Ajax squad has already started preparing for the upcoming season. Most players reported to the capital on Thursday for a series of physical tests, followed by the first group training session on Friday. Míchel's team is working towards the first official match on July 23.
