Kenneth Taylor has not forgotten Ajax. The midfielder, who moved to Lazio last winter after fifteen years, said the Amsterdam club still feels like family.
Taylor returned to the Netherlands national team's preliminary squad after a year and a half. "I had received the invitation for the preliminary squad, so I knew I was in the picture." he told reporters. National team coach Xavi Hernández speaks English with his squad, which will play four matches against Germany, Serbia (twice) and Greece in the upcoming period. Taylor wants to play as much as possible.
"I played at Ajax for fifteen years, that feels like a family," he explained. Ajax currently sits fifth in the Eredivisie with fourteen points from seven games. John van 't Schip's team plays at home against NEC Nijmegen, who are eleventh, on October 10. The last five league results are a draw, three wins and one defeat.
