AFC Ajax has signed Julian Brandt without a transfer fee. The player comes from Borussia Dortmund and has a salary that is far above the average of the club. According to the Algemeen Dagblad, Brandt has a basic salary that is acceptable to the club, but he can earn a much higher amount through bonuses. The club remains within the salary standards that are considered reasonable. With the arrival of Brandt, the club can close the gap with PSV Eindhoven. The player can establish himself as the best player in the Eredivisie. AFC Ajax is currently in 5th place in the Eredivisie, with 4 points from 2 games and a recent form of DW. The club still needs to find a replacement for Noa Lang and a new right winger. The club also needs to invest in a new number 6, a position that has been a problem for quite some time.
