AFC Ajax has completed the transfer of Fouad Zahouani. The 20-year-old left-back joins from Union Touarga Sportif and will initially play for Jong Ajax.
Fouad Zahouani announced his transfer to AFC Ajax himself on Instagram. The left-back thanks His Majesty King Mohammed VI for his support and the opportunity to play professional football.
The transfer of Zahouani is an important step for AFC Ajax in the Eredivisie. The club has a good relationship with Mo Sinouh, which facilitated the negotiations.
Zahouani will first join Jong Ajax under the new coach Carlos García. He will have time to get used to his new club and environment, before moving on to the first team.
