Ajax plays the return match in the Conference League qualifying round on Thursday evening. The Serbian FK Vojvodina was beaten 1-4 last week, but in his first official match in Amsterdam, Míchel will not make any changes.
The Spanish coach said earlier this week that he will miss some defensive players: Dies Janse is out with an injury and also Josip Sutalo and Ko Itakura are not fit enough to be in the squad.
Míchel has decided to stick with the same lineup as last week. That means Owen Wijnal will start ahead of newcomer Caio Henrique. In the midfield, Oscar Gloukh, Youri Regeer and Davy Klaassen will start. Up front, Steven Berghuis, Kasper Dolberg and Mika Godts will be responsible for the goals.
Newcomer Tolu Arokodare is not yet in the squad. He was officially presented by the Amsterdammers on Wednesday, but is not yet registered for this qualifying round of the Conference League.
